Memorial of the Second Czechoslovak Paratroop Brigade

In the village Dolná Lehota is near the recreational resort Krpáčovo located a memorial of the Slovak National Uprising. It was built in 1976 on the place, where the troops were remaining after the defense of town Banská Bystrica. Three parachutes were designed by Slovak sculptor and the painter Jaroslav Kubička. The memorial has been declared as a National Cultural Monument.

There are several tourist roads in the near surrounding – the yellow one leads to Skalka, the red one is the Partisan road leading from the village Nemecká to Mýto pod Ďumbierom and the green one leads through the Vajskovská valley directly to Vajskovské watterfalls.
