The wooden cottage is located in the middle of Šumiac. It looks like the local dwellings in the past. After the first touch of tradition and folklore you are carried away by the beautiful fantasies of the past. You will learn how people lived, worked, sang and danced in Šumiac. The first section shows the original room, kitchen with "špohretom" (oven) and a weaving loom. The backside section is dedicated to the Folklore Ensemble Šumiačan and the Šumiac parachuters and Juraj Kriváň, who tragically perished during an air action.
